LC Contact Cleaner
Simple and compact contact model for single sided cleaning.
The LC is KELVA’s most compact contact cleaner for single sided cleaning. It can handle webs from 200 up to 1300 mm, designed to be mounted on top of an existing roller in a machine.
The KELVA LC contact web cleaning system uses a two-stage contact cleaning method. Specially formulated (50 mm diameter) polymer roller removes contaminants from the substrate from 200 mm up to 1300 mm width as it passes through the system. The polymer particle transfer rollers removes the contamination from the web and transfers them to the second stage adhesive trap. The clean web then passes through static neutralization system to reduce the risk of recontamination. The adhesive roll can be easily purged when the machine stops or when the system is taken out of contact. The LC can also be mounted in any orientation making it easy to install in most applications.
The LC contact cleaner is operated by pneumatic cylinders, lifting the cleaner and keeping pressure on the web while in operation. The adhesive roll layer can easily be changed when the machine is taken out of operation, or when lifted from web
