KELVA Contact Web Cleaner CWC, our standard label printing cleaner, is suitable for web speeds up to 250 m/min. It is available for single or double sided cleaning, and comes in sizes from 250 to 650 mm.

The KELVA CWC contact web cleaning system uses a two-stage contact cleaning method. Specially formulated (ø50 mm) polymer roller(s) remove(s) contaminants from one side or both sides of the substrate as it passes through the cleaner. The particles are transferred to the second stage adhesive trap (adhesive roll). The clean web then passes through a static neutralization system to reduce the risk of recontamination. To allow easy purging, the adhesive roll are mounted on a carriage that can be pulled out to the side giving you quick clear access.

Replenishment of the adhesive can be done while the machine is running (no need to stop the machine). The top part of the CWC cleaner head also opens up to give access to the polymer rollers for cleaning and web threading. The KELVA CWC is featuring crocodile opening that allows easy access for web threading and maintenance. The adhesive roll pull-out enables continuous cleaning during change of adhesive layer, and a static discharger prevents the web from re-attracting dust after cleaning.
