BR43 Non-Contact Cleaner
Narrow web cleaner with manual “crocodile opening”.
KELVA’s web cleaner head BR43 is used for continuous narrow webs having widths up to 450 mm. The head is opened manually to facilitate the threading of the web. The web cleaner head works with both vacuum and pressure and cleans both sides of the web simultaneously.
The KELVA BR43 is a narrow web cleaner with manual “crocodile opening”. Its unique design allows the system to clean both sides of the web simultaneously. The cleaning head neutralises the static charge and breaks down the boundary air layer which holds the contamination to the surface of the substrate once the boundary layer is removed a combination of pressure air and vacuum air creates micro-vibrations on the surface of the web loosening and removing the contamination.
The contamination is extracted from the cleaning head and collected in the filter fan unit; the filter fan unit cleans and re-circulates the air to 1 micron and 0.03 of a micron with the optional micro filter. The cleaning cycle of the BR43 is continuous and requires very little maintenance; the cleaning head can also be mounted in any orientation.
