KELVA Cleaner Head Type SL1 for Double-Sided, Non-Contact Web Cleaning.
KELVA’s non-contact web cleaner head SL1 has the capacity of a larger web cleaner head, but in a compact flat size. With the choice of a 24V DC bar, only one bar is necessary for low web speeds in many cases. This will further decrease size and will make a power unit redundant. Their 4-chamber concept easier balances the web, and the venturi inlet increases the suction ability of surrounding dust. The SL cleaner heads fit almost any application like paper, tissue, textile, film and nonwoven with widths from 750 up to 1 600 mm
The profiles are closed at the end and coupled together by endplates. On these endplates pneumatic cylinders are mounted. The top half of the suction head can be lifted by means of these cylinders to create enough space for web treading and service.
The upper half of the web cleaner unit are equipped with adjusting bolts to control the distance between the halves. Under normal conditions these adjustments are carried out only during installation, but in case of an exceptional web thickness, changes can be done.
